Alice's return to Thailand, even in just the first few days, causes cracks in the relationship between Au and Rames. Even Rames' carefully planned marriage proposal falls apart, all because of Alice’s scheming — aided by her loyal friend Tinnakorn, a young lawyer secretly in love with her.

Alice magnifies a small issue — Au's reluctance to let Rames abandon his future as a successful architect to become a freelance artist — and twists it into a major rift. Rames, unable to see through Alice’s manipulation, falls into her trap.

Unlike Rames, Au sees through Alice’s true intentions to steal her lover. However, her pride and temper often make her the "problem" in Rames' eyes. Even Krongkaew, Au’s mother, seems to side with Alice more than her own daughter.

Fortunately, Au has her best friend Kamolchanok helping her dig up dirt on Alice. But Alice isn't alone either — she has Benjaphat, her close friend and strategist; Rattakorn, her kind uncle and key business partner at their hotel; and Monwipha, her sweet, sympathetic aunt-in-law who adores her.

A major turning point arises when Alice tricks Au into believing she's been betrayed in love.

In a fit of emotional turmoil, Au causes a serious accident — and Alice ends up severely injured, losing something she deeply cherishes.

The only way for Rames to take responsibility is to break up with Au... and marry Alice instead.

This marriage, however, doesn't just break Au's heart — it devastates Rames and Tinnakorn, both forced to sacrifice their true loves. Even their mothers — Rungmas, Rames' mother, and Saowanee, Tinnakorn’s mother — are deeply heartbroken for their sons.

In a moment of slip, Rungmas reveals to Au that Rames never once slept with Alice after their wedding, confirming Au’s belief that Rames still loves her.

At the same time, Au uncovers a painful truth: Alice’s mother had falsely accused Au’s mother of having an affair with Alice’s father, fueling the resentment between the two families.
