King Ramkhamhaeng (NUTTHAWUT SAKIDJAI), King of the Sukhothai Kingdom, takes care of his people’s well-being like a father takes care of his children. Sam-Sorn (SUKOLLAWAT KANAROS) is the son of the governor from “Shord” town, who was killed by King Ramkhamhaeng on the battlefield. Sam-Sorn, wanting revenge, tries to assassinate the King, but fails. King Ramkhamhaeng is so impressed with Sam-Sorn’s skills and his love for his own father, that instead of punishing Sam-Sorn for his crime, the King takes him in and raises him as his own son. Sam-Sorn becomes the King’s right-hand man and fights dutifully in every war. When King Rankhamhaeng learns that Sam-Sorn is in love with Princess Ben-Ja-Mas (VARATHAYA NINKHUHA), the King’s niece, the King decides that the two lovers should marry without delay because he does not want them to run away, like Ma-Ka-Tho (CHANAPOL SATAYA), an ex mahout, and Phra-Thi-Da (USAMANEE WAITHAYANOND) did. Sam-Sorn, however, wants to first repay the Kingdom by fighting wars to unite the country and restore peace and harmony. King Ramkahaeng will not take no for an answer and forces Sam-Sorn to marry. But Sam-Sorn is determined not to share his bed with the princess untill his mission is complete. The Princess fully understands Sam-Sorn, so she follows him out of Sukhothai as he gathers the Kingdom's men to go to war against Srivichai and Nakorn Srithammarat territories. Finally, the country is united as wished by King Ramkamheang. Peace and Harmony is returned to the people’s life through the end of his reign.
